Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students across K-12 settings. This role supports multiple private schools on an itinerant basis and requires a dedicated professional with strong communication and clinical skills.
Location:
- Apopka, FL area with itinerant services at several private schools including Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic School, The Masters Academy, The Ecclesial School at Saint Albans, Altamonte Christian School, Orangewood Christian, and International Community School.
Position Type and Duration:
- Contract position covering the current school year through May 27, 2026.
- Full-time roles available at both elementary and high school levels from January to May.
- Part-time roles also open, including two elementary and one high school position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with district standards.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Provide services across multiple schools in an itinerant capacity.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field.
- Current Florida State License.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred.
- Must be able to work on-site; hybrid options may be considered.
